
AfroFuturist Affair
The AfroFuturist Affair is a community formed to celebrate, strengthen, and promote Afrofuturistic and Sci-Fi concepts and culture through creative events and creative writing. The organization aims to provide a space not only for further dialogue around Afrofuturistic ideas, but a space for actual, practical implementation of these ideas as they serve social progress and freedom.


CREATIVE DIRECTOR RASHEEDAH PHILLIPS
Rasheedah Phillips, Esq. is a 2008 graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law. During the fall of 2002, she began her college career at Temple University as a Criminal Justice major, after graduating from Lincoln High with honors and a story in the Philadelphia Inquirer about her success. While embarking down this path, she decided to live independently in family housing on campus with her then 4-year old daughter, Iyonna.
